A market leader in their sector, our Client is an established and highly regarded Fresh Produce Importer and Supplier to the major retailers. Due to success and recent growth, we are now seeking a Commercial Graduate / Junior Procurement Assistant on their behalf.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to establish themselves within the Fresh Produce sector in a commercially focused position, within procurement and supplier management. The successful individual will be involved in the sourcing and the supply of a specific product area, managing growers / suppliers to ensure a continuous high level of quality and availability, with a focus on cost and profitability. Suppliers will be reviewed regularly with the best value negotiated for the business, new suppliers sourced and issues managed in a professional and timely manner.

We are seeking a Graduate with a Food / Fresh Produce Related Degree, confident and driven with the ability to develop key relationships. A placement year in industry would be advantageous, with excellent numerical, IT and communication skills being key.
