Overview

A fantastic opportunity has become available with a successful Fresh Produce specialist, in a key position as Head of Finance, taking responsibility for all of the financial processes across the business.

 

The Head of Finance position reports to and works closely with the Managing Director, taking responsibility for all finance systems, the management of the finance team, and building the operational, administration and sales budget. Through effective team management, the successful individual will ensure monthly accounts, budgets, KPI’s and forecasting are accurate and effective, incorporating;

Treasury control

Weekly financial performance reporting

Budget management and rolling forecasting

Accurate purchase order data using the ERP system

Prepare and present Monthly Management Accounts

 

We require;

Ideally experience gained within a similar financial position in the Fresh Produce / Fresh Food sectors

Recognised qualification in Accounting; ACCA / CIMA

Personable, encouraging, and positive management style

Strong attention to detail, methodical, and organised approach

Strong IT skills, with exposure to ERP systems (Prophet highly advantageous)
