Overview
We offer the opportunity for an experienced Quality Operations Manager to join a successful Fresh Produce supplier, in a key position within the business.
This opportunity will manage a committed Quality / Product Management team, with dedicated Managers across different product categories within Fresh Produce. The successful individual will report to the Head of Technical, but will work closely with the Operations team to ensure the smooth flow of the product packaging facility, meeting customer expectations & product quality at all times.
We require an experienced Fresh Produce individual, with knowledge of product supply to retailers & the expectations involved, with previous retail contact to resolve quality / technical issues being advantageous. Operations knowledge, and exposure to 3rd party packers would be most beneficial for success within this position, to accompany the ability to work in a fast-paced, and demanding environment. Successful management of the team is paramount, and requires a personable, confident, and approachable individual, with the ability to guide, focus, and develop individuals. In such a fast-paced environment, multitasking, decision making, and a calm nature is key.
