Overview

Our Client is passionate about supplying quality Fresh Produce to the top UK retailers, and currently offer the opportunity for a Ripening Coordinator / Planner to join the team in a unique position.

 

Working closely with the ripening team, the Ripening Coordinator / Planner will work within the planning team to coordinate the forecasting, allocation, and ripening of product to ensure it is available, and packed to meet customer demand. It is an integral position, working between planning and ripening, with the ability to understand the process thoroughly. The position is a key role within the supply of produce to the customer and will require excellent relationships with all departments to manage & have an up to date overview of commercial and production requirements, creating weekly forecasts, and ensuring data is correct utilising the MRP system. Stock and product management is key, to ensure the most cost-effective use of product to meet requirements.

 

This Ripening Coordinator / Planner position is varied and demanding, requiring an organised and methodical approach to raw materials management, allocation, & ripening. To gain this excellent opportunity within the Fresh Produce sector, we require an individual with ripening exposure, with an understanding of product stock, allocation, release etc. The successful individual will benefit from an excellent career with a leading Fresh Produce supplier, in a key role.

This is a Mon-Fri role, working 8.30-17.00 plus 1 weekend in 3.
