Overview

Our Client is the largest independent supplier of packaging to the UK retail market, and has a strong portfolio of customers to include the UK Retailers. They have seen rapid growth over recent years, and are now seeking an experienced Sales Director to maintain & grow their market position through the delivery of excellent customer service, retaining retailer & supplier business, and growing with them through business expansion.

Reporting to the Managing Director, this fantastic opportunity will manage a dedicated grower/producer focused team, offering support & development, and will focus on the day-to-day management of retail customers to ensure a high level of satisfaction is achieved, with targets & sustainable profitable growth considered. This position offers the successful individual the opportunity to join a successful business with established retail relationships, but does offer new business & growth opportunity to further develop the division. It is a key position within the Senior team, representing the business at all levels, offering a rewarding opportunity within the food packaging sector in return.

We require an experienced Commercial / Sales / Supply Chain professional who has enjoyed a successful career within the Food packaging industry, with exposure to retail customers, and an understanding of pooling being key.
