Overview

Our Client is a Specialist Grower and Supplier of Fresh Produce to the major retailers, with both whole and prepared products. We currently offer a new and exciting opportunity to join the business at an integral time as Assistant Technical Manager.

Reporting to the Senior Technical Manager, the opportunity of Assistant Technical Manager will be responsible for;

Management of the Supplier approval system, to ensure grower compliance to expected standards

Raw material and supplier approval

Internal auditing

Supplier due diligence

Site compliance with BRC and retailer standards etc.

Requirements;

Food Degree

Fresh Produce / Food Manufacturing exposure is essential

Technical / Supplier focused experience within a Fresh Produce / Fresh Food packing environment

Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook and importance of inputting data with accuracy.

Salary; Up to £30k, dependent on experience

Location; Essex / Suffolk border.  A full driving licence is essential.
