We have the privilege of recruiting on behalf of a unique and successful leader within the Fresh Produce sector. We offer the opportunity of Buyer to become part of an energetic and passionate team.

The position of Fresh Produce Buyer will report to and work alongside the Procurement Director to provide support across the procurement function, with a key focus on;
Procurement of Fresh Produce, across a variety of Fruit categories
Planning & management of stock, to ensure volumes are met
Liaising with all parties to ensure product quality is achieved
Managing successful & positive Supplier relationships
Negotiating prices, meeting financial KPI’s

Requirements;
Experience within a Buying / Procurement position with Fresh Produce / Fresh Food products
High level of professionalism, confident approach, able to communicate at all levels
An understanding of Fresh Produce Supply Chain
Ability to work under pressure
Competent IT user, numerically minded

This role requires a passionate, organised and pro-active individual, confident in a fast-paced & demanding environment, with the ability to meet deadlines and tight timescales.

Salary; Up to £45k + Performance related Bonus
Hours; Monday to Friday
Location; Commutable from West Midlands, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Oxfordshire
