A fantastic opportunity has become available to join a highly successful and established supplier of Fresh Produce, providing retail customers in the UK an exciting portfolio of products. Due to success, our Client is an ever-expanding leader in the sector and now offer the opportunity to join the dynamic Commercial team as a Fresh Produce Buyer.

 

The position of Buyer / Procurement Manager will become a key member of the UK based buying team, with a focus on a dedicated product category. This opportunity will report to and work alongside the category focused Senior Commercial Manager / Buyer, to provide support across the procurement function, with a key focus on Fresh Produce product ordering, product quality, shipment agendas and associated paperwork. The Buyer position will be integral to the team and will assist in managing the communication with suppliers both in the UK and Overseas effectively.

Requirements;

Experience of Buying / Procurement within the Fresh Produce sector

High level of professionalism and a confident approach

Ability to work under pressure and make decisions

Ability to communicate at all levels

Spanish speaking advantageous

This opportunity requires an organised and pro-active individual, who is confident in a fast-paced & demanding environment, meeting deadlines & timescales.

 

Location; London

Salary; £40-50k, dependent on experience
