We currently offer an excellent opportunity to join our Client; a Global Group who supply leading retailers with an exciting portfolio of Chilled, Frozen and Perishable Food focused products. We have the privilege of working in partnership with them and offer the opportunity of Commercial Forecast & Inventory Analyst.

This is an exciting and rare opportunity offering a split role between the customer head office, based in London, and the newly built, impressive site of our Client in Cambridgeshire. Reporting to a Senior Commercial Manager, the Commercial Forecast & Inventory position will work closely with a retail customer to drive performance of M&S categories, through;

Analysis of data trends and weather to ensure correct volumes of fruit are being supplied to UK stores

Monitor SKU viability and Store range optimisation ensuring correct product distribution

Track recovery of advanced funds and report weekly debt/recovery performance

Act as the link between the customer and the company’s UK commercial teams

Drive sales whilst still maintaining availability and reducing store waste

Data analyst reporting and responsibility for end-to-end forecasting

Short term and Long term forecasting & planning

We require;

Experience in a Supply Chain / Commercial / Customer facing position

Previous experience of working with retail customers

Chilled Food / Fresh Produce / FMCG exposure

Professional, confident and approachable

High level of analytical ability

Highly proficient IT skills

Driving licence

 

Location; Cambridgeshire and London

Salary; up to £40k
