Overview

Our Client is one of the UK’s largest Importers and Distributors in their sector, who supply a varied portfolio of products to retail customers, achieving a high standard of product quality and availability across 12 months of the year. We offer the opportunity of Commercial / Supply Chain Administrator to become an integral part of the commercial operations team, who play a crucial central function within the business.

This position will work as part of the Commercial team and communicate effectively with all departments to achieve customer and supplier satisfaction throughout the supply chain.

Responsibilities include;
Regularly liaise and build relationships with colleagues and external contacts with a professional manner
Monitor procurement data to manage any issues with logistics / product shortages

Create weekly reports on waste, customer margins, country of origin

Process and monitor daily incoming customer orders accurately

Accurately enter data within the ERP system

Support Managers

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual seeking a role within the Fresh Produce sector, to join a dedicated team and become part of a successful business.

We require;
Food / Fresh Produce sector exposure would be advantageous
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and make decisions under pressure
Strong IT skills; Microsoft Office + ERP / Stock Management systems advantageous
Experience gained within an administrative, order processing, customer service, supply chain position

Location: Kent
Salary; Up to £23k, dependent on experience
Hours: Days; 5-on – 2-off, 40 hours per week
