A market leader in their sector, our Client is an established & highly regarded Fresh Produce Supplier to the major retailers. Due to success and recent growth, we offer an exciting opportunity to join the business for a 1-year contract as Data Analyst.

This is an exciting opportunity to be both office based and field based, with the aim of gathering key information / data to ensure the successful outcome of business forecasting projects. Gaining the opportunity to work across the UK, this position offers interaction at all levels, both farm & office focused and will require a flexible & confident individual.

Responsibilities:

Working with the company’s Forecasting team across various projects

Carrying out trials to test efficacy of forecasting models

Data gathering and validation

Interfacing with external developers

Identifying and closing gaps in data sets

Reporting

Requirements gathering

Training people to use bespoke data interfaces and models

Requirements:

Experience in a similar data gathering / analysis position

Strong mathematics background (statistics related)

Familiar with databases and data manipulation (SQL Server ideally)

Advanced Excel

A full driving licence is essential due to the nature of the role and location.

Familiarity with systems such as Jupyter, NumPy, Pandas, Seaborn would be beneficial.
