A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Fresh Produce procurement professional to join our Client; an ever-expanding leader in the supply of quality Fresh Produce to retail customers in the UK.

The position of Fresh Produce Buyer will join an established and successful business to become a key member of the commercial team, focusing on procurement. This senior buying opportunity will provide support across the procurement/buying function, with a key focus on Fruit procurement to include product ordering, product quality, shipment agendas, and associated paperwork.

The Buyer position will be integral to the team and will assist in managing the communication with suppliers both in the UK and Overseas effectively.

Requirements;
Experience of Buying / Procurement within the Fresh Produce sector (ideally Fruit exposure)
A full understanding of retail accounts and expectations is crucial
High level of professionalism and a confident approach
Ability to work under pressure and make decisions
Ability to communicate at all levels
Languages advantageous

Location; South East England / Kent
Salary; Up to £60k + Bonus; dependent on experience
