Our Client is a dynamic, fast-paced, established Fresh Produce Business. We are currently seeking a Grower-focused Quality / Technical Manager on their behalf to manage a specific Fresh Produce category, working to supply the Retail sector.

The position of Quality / Technical Manager is newly created role due to successful growth and offers a challenging Grower and Customer-facing combined quality and technical opportunity.

Responsibilities;

Meeting retail customer expectations

Delivering Quality and Technical standards

Manage the compliance agenda i.e. Due Diligence, Audits, Pesticide management

Key point of contact for customer and grower

Manage the Ethical agenda, i.e. SEDEX and manage all TPPS & TMPS audits

The successful individual will be interacting with grower and retail customers, providing information, advice and developing key relationships. This will require well-developed communication skills, presenting internally & externally and directly contributing to management meetings on a regular basis.

We require;

Experience of dealing with and developing relationships with Growers in Europe

Vegetable experience is an essential requirement

A high level of Quality knowledge

Technical understanding

Spanish language would be advantageous

The salary for this position is competitive and will be dependent on the experience level offered.
