A fantastic opportunity has become available to join our Client; a unique and ever-expanding leader in the supply of quality Fresh Produce to retail customers in the UK. We currently offer the opportunity of Health & Safety Manager to support the business across all aspects of Health & Safety.

 

The position of Health & Safety Manager will manage a small team and oversee the Health and Safety management of a busy, fast-paced Fresh Produce packing environment, working to;
Manage, evaluate, and promote the Health & Safety systems and procedures
Provide guidance on Health & Safety related matters across all departments

Ensure the HSE Policy remains up to date with new legislation

Manage Health & Safety training

 

We require;

NEBOSH or equivalent

Fire Safety knowledge and experience

Handling of Health & Safety investigations

Minimum Tech IOSH/Grad IOSH Membership

Qualification in delivering training would be beneficial

Health and Safety experience in Food / Fresh Produce sectors would be highly advantageous

Knowledge of Legionella, COSHH and Asbestos experience desirable

Auditing qualification in Health and Safety management system desirable

 

Location; Kent

Hours; Monday – Friday, 8.00am – 5.00pm

Salary; Attractive salary offered, dependent on experience
