We currently offer a fantastic opportunity for a passionate technical individual to join a successful Fresh Produce supplier, who are at the forefront of their product categories within the industry, supplying UK Retailers with the best produce from Worldwide Growers. Due to continued success, we are delighted to offer the opportunity of Technical Manager to become an integral member of the team, with a focus on dedicated retail accounts.
The position of Technical Manager will gain the exciting opportunity to take ownership for a key product category, with a key retail customer to ensure all aspects of product quality are meeting requirements, through the proactive and positive communication with suppliers, commercial colleagues, and customers. As Technical Manager, the successful individual will also gain the additional opportunity to work with and support the Senior Technical Manager across a highly buoyant product category, gaining invaluable product, customer, and technical knowledge and insight.
Becoming an integral part of the customer technical management team:-
Achieve specific targets and KPIs on technical issues and ensure customers are satisfied at all times
Retail customer management to ensure product satisfaction, compliance, and continuous successful relationship growth
Working with suppliers to ensure compliance, efficiency, and effective communication to ensure the successful supply of quality product categories
Requirements;
Experience gained within Fresh Produce, to accompany exposure to Fruit categories proving highly advantageous
Previous experience gained within a quality and / or technically focused position, with an evident confident ability
Exposure to retail customers and / or the supply of product to retail customers, with expectations understood
Confident Supplier management, with the ability to discuss and resolve any product quality issues
High level of communication skills, with a passionate and professional approach
