Overview

Part of a large Food Group, producing high-quality Chilled Foods for the British retailers, our Client is continuing to expand, and we currently offer the position of Process Technologist on their behalf.

Reporting to the Process Manager, and joining a dedicated team, the successful individual will manage the effective delivery of product from approved recipe through to factory launch, encompassing a hands-on approach, working closely with raw material suppliers, and NPD, commercial & technical teams. You will be responsible for launching products on-time, to-specification and agreed product cost and will constantly be evolving and improving the launch process as the business adapts and evolves into new product categories.

We Require;

An experienced individual, confident in process and technical within the Food sector

A relevant Degree is required, with a thorough technical understanding of the challenges involved with product launches & factory / scale-up processes.

Successfully launched Food products into the retail arena at a fast pace

Demonstrable ability to successfully manage multiple projects at the same time.

With one of the most innovative food products on the market this role is a great opportunity to push creative boundaries to ensure that all retail customer expectations are met in terms of trends, innovation, NPD and identify and deliver “First to market” opportunities.

As a company they have ambitious growth plans so to be successful in this role you will need previous experience in a similar Process Development role with proven track record of successful product launches to high end retail customers.
