A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Fresh Produce Buyer to join our Client; a unique and ever-expanding leader in the supply of quality Fresh Produce to retail customers in the UK.

The position of Fresh Produce Buyer will join an established and successful business to become a key member of the UK buying team. The position will report to and work alongside the Head of Buying to provide support across the procurement function, with a key focus on Fresh Produce product ordering, product quality, shipment agendas and associated paperwork. The Buyer position will be integral to the team and will assist in managing the communication with suppliers both in the UK and Overseas effectively.

Requirements;

Experience of buying / procurement within the Fresh Produce sector

Ability to work under pressure and make decisions is fundamental for success within Buying
High level of professionalism and a confident approach, with the ability to communicate at all levels
Competent IT user, with confident numerical ability
This opportunity requires an organised and pro-active individual, who is confident in a fast-paced & demanding environment, meeting deadlines & timescales.

Location; Kent
Salary; Competitive + Car
Hours; Monday – Friday
