We have the privilege of recruiting on behalf of an innovative business, who are a leader in their sector, supplying UK and European Retail customers with Fresh, High Quality products.

Due to exciting growth within the business, we currently offer an opportunity to join them in a permanent, full time position as Production Team Leader / Production Section Leader.

The position of Production Team Leader / Production Section Leader will report to the Production Section Manager and will ensure perishable product is packed efficiently, meeting customer requirements, and transport deadlines. Taking responsibility for the team and packing lines, the successful individual will be a key point of contact for team members and will ensure all members are utilised to meet order demand, KPI’s, Quality, and Health & Safety expectations.

We require;
Experience of effectively managing a team in a previous supervisory role
Approachable, effective, motivating and driven management ability
Exposure to FMCG / Food / Fresh Produce sectors
ERP systems experience advantageous

This opportunity offers training within production / operations for career development in an ever expanding sector, and progression to become a Production Section Manager.

Shift; 4on – 3off, working from 8am until finished, which could be from an 8 to a 12 hour shift, dependant on work load.

Managing teams of 10-25 staff on shift, with a combination of permanent and agency staff.

Salary; Hourly paid @ £9.91 per hour, with overtime paid after 40 hours @ £12.39.

Holidays; 28 days holidays (incl. bank holiday)

Location; Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire
