Overview

We offer an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual from the Fresh Produce sector to join an established Fruit business as QA Assistant.

This is an autonomous role, with particular emphasis on the quality control of product; reporting any failings, and ensuring the appropriate action is taken, carrying out product shelf life tests & collating samples, and supporting the Packhouse Manager & QA Manager when required.

We are seeking an individual who has experience within a QA / QC role from the Fresh Produce sector, ideally having worked with Fruit. With the ability to work as a team, and communicate effectively, the successful candidate will benefit from a competitive salary.

This position will work a late shift, from 5.00pm – finish. The shift patterns will be alternate weekends with one day off in the week.
