Overview

Our Client is a leading Grower of Fresh Produce, supplying the major retailers. They now offer the opportunity to join the technical team as a QC / Quality Controller.

Reporting to the QA Manager, this position will take responsibility on a dedicated shift to;

Monitor the quality of product

Ensure product meets customer expectations

Ensure Traceability is complete from harvest through to despatch

Accurate generation of QC reports and documentation

You will be confident, motivated and enthusiastic, flexible with an eye for detail and the ability to cope under pressure. We require a flexible approach to work and working hours. They are not looking for formal qualifications but experience in working a food industry, QC environment would be an advantage, however not essential.

Ability to work as part of a team and working on own imitative

PC literacy is a pre-requisite

This QC position is permanent and will work Sunday – Thursday, 07:00-17:30, with flexibility around those hours.

Salary will be paid p/h, which is c£21k.
