Overview
We have the privilege of recruiting on behalf of an innovative business, who are a leader in their sector, supplying UK and European Retail customers with Fresh, High Quality Fresh Produce. We currently offer the exciting position of Regional Technologist to become part of the technical team with a focus on growers in the UK.
The position of Regional Technologist will work closely with the companies fruit growers, dedicated to supporting across QA management and product quality compliance. This position is fundamental to the efficient supply of Fresh Produce and will incorporate the following responsibilities;
Ensure customer specifications are met following production, visiting retail stores, reporting on shelf-life quality
Ensure product compliance throughout the UK season, with regular field and packhouse visits
Support and work with Regional Technical Managers as required, assisting with;
QA systems compliance, with regular inspections and audits
Assist with resolutions to product issues
Assist with reports as required
We require;
A full driving licence is essential
Flexibility to travel in a dedicated region
Experience gained within Fresh Produce
Knowledge of Product Quality / Technical requirements
Confident and able to make decisions, working autonomously
Personable and professional approach, with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels
Salary; £25-28k + Company vehicle
Hours; Monday – Friday / 40 hours per week
Location; Home based, with the West Midlands region covered
