Our Client is an established and highly regarded Ambient Food Importer and Supplier to the UK supermarkets, and currently offer a new and exciting opportunity for a Site Operations Manager / Site General Manager to join the business in a key position.

This Site Operations Manager position will manage a fast paced, professional food site and take responsibility for managing the factory, warehouse, logistics, production & commercial departments, with a hands-on and commercially minded approach. The successful individual will represent the operational management of the site to the senior company members and support in making key decisions, with primarily responsibility for the effective management of the site through the effective coordination of the activities of all departments. Managing and accessing the internal organisation in line with the aspirations, objectives and strategy set within the Group, a focus on efficient internal development is key as the business continues to grow with success.

The successful individual will have a demonstrable track record acquired within the Food sector, and experience of site management covering all aspects of the supply chain to include Logistics and Warehouse. Commercially aware, with a keen eye for continuous improvement and progression, this position offers an exciting new opportunity at a time of rewarding challenges through successful growth.

We are looking for a highly versatile and practical individual who understands the dynamics of a challenging environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are key.

Salary; £70-80k + Car Allowance, Pension etc

Commutable from Sudbury, Colchester, Ipswich, Chelmsford, Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk
