We have the privilege of working in partnership with them and offer the opportunity of Site Technical Manager / Senior Technical Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business at their new state-of-the-art chilled food facility, dedicated to packing a range of imported fresh products retailer customers. The position of Site Technical Manager / Senior Technical Manager will manage the day-to-day food safety of all products produced by the site and be the point of contact for the retail customer, to ensure audit-ready standards every day. Ensuring all technical activities on site are structured and managed to comply with relevant industry standards, and take responsibility for the;

Customer Technical relationship
Performance of Site Technical Team
Investigation management of technical and hygiene issues

Management and set up of QMS, HACCP and site standards

Environmental testing and micro biology, tracking of waste, carbon emissions ,etc.

Maintenance and improvement of external audit results TFS, ISO14001 & Pest Control contract
Building robust technical relationship with the Operations team on site and across the group
We require;
An experienced Site / Senior Technical Manager
Customer exposure in previous roles, with a commercial confidence
Quality Assurance/QC, Technical, Ethical, Environmental knowledge
Team management ability; with an approachable and encouraging ethos
Previous experience and evident confidence in Chilled Food / Fresh Produce environments
Driving licence

Location; East Midlands
Salary; up to £55k
