Overview

Our Client is a large Fresh Produce specialist in the UK, and they are continuing to develop in this ever-changing, fast paced industry sector. They are currently looking to strengthen their technical team by appointing a Site Technical Manager.

Reporting to, and working alongside the Technical Director, the successful individual will promote a continuous improvement culture, with a focus on quality systems, policies & procedures, managing the audit schedules, and ensuring compliance is effective. With the support of an Assistant, this role will work in conjunction with other departments to maintain & continuously improve quality / technical standards to meet retail requirements. The successful individual will deputise for the Technical Director when absent from the business, and contribute to the daily management of the team.

We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager from the Fresh Produce sector, with excellent knowledge, skills, and ability to lead & motivate, with the desire to accurately oversee quality / compliance standards & procedures. Previous exposure to a high-care environment would be advantageous, with languages being beneficial.
