Overview

Our Client is a dynamic, fast-paced Fresh Produce provider supplying a variety of customers, with a varied portfolio of Fresh Food Products. We offer the opportunity of Stock Controller to join the team in a supportive position at a time of expansion.

Reporting to the Planning Manager, the position of Stock Controller will work on a night shift opposite team colleagues mirroring a 4-on – 4-off shift.

The opportunity available will control and maintain accurate stock & data to ensure the smooth and effective management of stock, production orders, and consignment details.

Key responsibilities;

Ensure all processes and documentation are accurate

Review daily raw material stock levels via stock sheet

Physical stock checks, within a large warehouse / packing facility
Monitor & investigate stock movements and record data accurately on the ERP system
Work with colleagues and partnering departments effectively, increasing more accurate stock usage data

Ensure that all relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are accurately documented and maintained

We require;

Excellent IT skills, with experience on ERP systems (Prophet highly beneficial)
Ability to work hands-on in a large warehouse / packing facility

Fresh Produce / Food / FMCG exposure highly advantageous

Experience of stock control / stock management

Ability to communicate effectively at all levels

Attention to detail & precise numeracy ability

Hours; 4-on – 4off; 7.00pm – 7.00am

Salary; Hourly paid – Annual equivalent c£25k
