We have the privilege of recruiting on behalf of an innovative business, who are a leader in their sector, supplying UK and European Retail customers with Fresh, High Quality products.

 

The position of Supply Chain Coordinator / Assistant will work in a fast-paced and demanding environment, to work with and support the Supply Chain team to ensure the smooth flow of product. This is a key position and will work closely with 3rd party suppliers to ensure product arrives on time and meets requirements.

Responsibilities include;

Coordinate and ensure timely deliveries

Management of arrival data and delivery schedules, providing updates and reports

Input, review, and confirm transport / logistics invoices and resolve any discrepancies

Work with Managers to ensure any changes or issues to schedules are reported & relevant amendments are made

Working closely with a wide range of contacts and levels, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment is essential and will require the ability to build & maintain a strong network of contacts & relationships.

 

We require;

FMCG exposure across logistics / forecasting / stock control would be advantageous

Confident approach, with the ability to work with 3rd parties / hauliers to gain data and resolve any issues

Excellent IT & Numeracy skills, the ability to use systems, spreadsheets, and multitask is key to this position

 

Working as part of an energetic and passionate team, effective communication is fundamental.

 

Salary; £25k

Hours; 5-day week (Tuesday to Saturday) 8.00am – 5.00pm

Location: Cambridgeshire (can work remotely after an initial office based period for training)
