Overview

Our Client is an established Fruit supplier to the major retailers. With multi-sites across the UK, the position of Supply Chain Manager has been newly created, to be based at their office in the West Midlands.

This Supply Chain Manager position will report to the Operations Manager but will also have regular contact at Director level. The newly created Supply Chain role will take responsibility for all supply chain at the West Midlands site, managing the department on a day to day basis and developing the overall supply chain strategy to include tendering contracts, implementing distributor changes and making recommendations on efficiencies. Working with and across all departments, to include Commercial, Procurement, Packhouse & Warehouse teams, the successful individual will be approachable, personable and professional.

Requirements;

Previous experience in a Supply Chain position within FMCG / Food sectors

Fresh Produce /  Short shelf-life exposure preferred

Knowledge of supply to UK Major Retailers
Planning, forecasting and analytical skills

Experience of ERP systems

Salary; £50-55k – dependent on experience offered
