A market leader in their sector, our Client is an established, highly regarded Ambient Food Importer and supplier to the major multiples. We are now seeking a Technical Manager on their behalf, to become part of a successful, international business.

Reporting to an off-site Technical Director, this position will take ownership of the sites technical department and become the key technical contact for the UK retailers, building & developing relationships, ensuring the highest level of standards are achieved.

As part of the Senior Management team, the successful individual will;

Liaise with technical colleagues in the UK & Europe

Ensure customer needs are met in a timely and accurate manner

Deliver ongoing product improvement & consistency, working to reduce customer complaints/claims

Ensure the UK factory meets customer/audit standards, including HACCP principles, BRC, TFMS, and ethical requirements.

Manage a team in the UK.

Essential requirements;

An experienced Technical Manager from the Food sector

Previous experience with the UK retailers

Strong management skills

This role will work Monday – Friday, with some flexibility, due to some travel abroad.
