An exciting opportunity for a Technical Services / Compliance Technologist has become available to join a leading Food manufacturing business. Our client is a thriving business who pride themselves on sourcing the very best raw materials from a wide range of suppliers around the world.

Reporting to the Group Technical Manager, the role of Technical Services / Compliance will be an integral part of the Specifications and Supplier Auditing team, who are based in the UK and Overseas.

Taking responsibility;

To implement, manage and lead on a new Specifications system across the group

To manage and lead on supplier approval administration

To manage supplier audit administration and corrective actions

Pesticide List management

Preparing the Supplier Teams to deliver successful audits

Management of internal audit programmes and effective support and accuracy of product specifications

To ensure that a controlled system of corrective action management is in place, that addresses root cause and promotes continuous improvement for Supplier non conformances

We Require;

FMCG experience and previous exposure to major B2B customers

Excellent knowledge of Technical and Specifications to include, raw material Specifications, supplier audit information and specification training

Knowledge of Muddy Boots system

Proven track record of working to tight deadlines

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

Motivated, with effective communication ability at all levels

This is an office-based supplier and specification system focused role. We are looking for an individual who relishes working with data and technical specification systems. An individual who is confident in taking on a challenge, as well as taking the lead.

Home based role, with ad hoc travel to the office in Yorkshire

Salary; £35-45k

Pension + Laptop and Mobile Phone

22 days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays

Monday to Friday working
