Overview

We offer a fantastic opportunity on behalf of our Client, a successful Fresh and Ambient Food business who are supplying numerous lines to the foodservice and processing sector.  We are currently seeking a Transport Supervisor to join the business covering a night shift.

We are looking for a minimum of 12 months in a Transport function, ideally within the food sector. You must have people management experience including absence management and knowledge of the working time directive.

Knowledge of the roads and motorway networks is desirable, including a good geographical knowledge of the South East and London, excellent communication skills with the ability be able to work effectively as part of a team with planning, prioritising and organisation skills.

Hours of work 5 shifts per week working on a rota basis between the hours of either 21.00 pm – 07.00 am or 22.00 pm – 08.00 am. Saturday night will be your regular weekly rest night and you will have one other moving rest night on either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday each week.
