Our Client is a successful Importer and Supplier of Fresh Produce. They currently offer an excellent opportunity to join the business at an exciting time of growth as Assistant Technical Manager. 

The position of Assistant Technical Manager will report to & work alongside the Technical Director and will coordinate key systems & processes to enable compliance & due-diligence across the supply of Produce to all customers. With a varied remit and an exciting opportunity for career development, this position offers a wide spectrum of responsibilities that include the management of technical & compliance data, traceability, SEDEX, codes of practice, supplier due-diligence and will liaise with all departments as required, to ensure up to date knowledge & information across all functions.

This exciting opportunity will provide an excellent platform for a motivated, confident and accurate individual, to join a key player within the sector and gain training & knowledge from an excellent technical team. A high level of IT skills and the ability to work as a team is key, to accompany the confidence to make decisions & work independently. Knowledge from the Fresh Produce sector and an understanding of technical requirements would be advantageous. For the right individual, the opportunity to progress into a Technical Manager role is highly likely. This is an office based Technical role working Monday to Friday, office hours.
