Overview

A market leader in their sector, our Client is an established, highly regarded Fresh Produce Importer, and Supplier to the major retailers. Due to success, and recent growth, we are now seeking a Product Manager on their behalf.

Reporting to the Technical Director, this position will be based in Kent, and will work as an integral part of a team but in a stand-alone position, you will manage the quality of product under a specific category on behalf of our Client. A hands-on, pivotal role working to ensure, customer quality expectations are met, suppliers are informed of requirements and the level of product quality expected, stock levels are managed with effective rotation and rejects/returns kept to a minimum, ensuring that Organic and Ethical standards are maintained at all times.

We are seeking a confident technical individual from the Fresh Produce sector, having worked with either fruit and / or vegetables previously. With the ability to commute effectively at all levels, and knowledge of the technical standards & product quality expected by retail customers, the successful individual will be driven and passionate in this role.
