Overview

Our Client is a successful leading Fruit Grower & Supplier to the UK retailers, with high quality product. We are currently seeking a QA Supervisor / Manager to cover a maternity contract, with the potential to become a full time role.

The QA Supervisor / Manager will be responsible for all quality issues relating to fruit product quality, due diligence, food safety, label / packaging inspection, and work to ensure an effective QMS, non-conformances are reported. Management of a QA team of 8 and delegate responsibility to the QC team as necessary.

We require an individual who has worked in a QC / Quality role in the Fresh Produce sector, preferably within Fruit. A professional manner, good communication & inter-personal skills combined with good IT skills are required.

This position will initially cover a period of maternity leave, but has genuine opportunity to become fulltime / permanent.
