Overview

Our Client is a unique and ever-expanding leader in the supply of quality Fresh Fruit to customers in the UK workplace.

The position available is both unique and demanding, with a 2.30/3.00am start on wholesale markets in the West Midlands, procuring quality fresh product for that day, through to effectively managing the packing process in the warehouse through to despatch. The role will incorporate a combination of skills including; price negotiation, relationship building, stock control, operation management, and route planning. There will be an ever-expanding team to manage and motivate, with development, and training being key.

We are seeking an individual ideally with experience in the Fresh Produce sector, having worked in a similar role that enables success with the varied role on offer. Team management, and a positive approach is key. With a good understanding of the Birmingham area, and the logistical challenges involved, a distribution background would be beneficial. A driving licence is essential.

The hours of work will be from approximately 2.30/3.30am to 1.00/2.00pm – Monday to Thursday and from 5.00am to midday on Fridays. No weekend working.
