Overview

We are actively recruiting a Sales Manager for a well-known vegetable breeder based in Scotland.  Our client is a specialist supplier of high grade vegetable products for pre-packers, processors, seed merchants and branded operations worldwide.

This role will be responsible for the sales of UK product into a variety of customers, involving procuring and selling to established customers throughout the UK and selected export markets to achieve the best possible return to the company.  The role will involve new development and sales strategy for key varieties into the different sectors of the UK market.

This is a great opportunity to become part of a driven and successful commercial team and becoming a key part of customer and supplier relations, driving sales and profit growth, gaining/providing accurate information to generate reports and maintaining business systems, cost and customer data.

We are looking for an individual who wants to use their enthusiasm for sales in agriculture to promote the company’s product. You are a team player but can also work on your own and can demonstrate your ability to build relationships with others at different levels and act diplomatically to reach harmony and consensus in all situations.
