We are actively recruiting a Sales Manager for a well-known vegetable breeder based in Scotland.  Our client is a specialist supplier of high grade vegetable products for pre-packers, processors, seed merchants and branded operations worldwide.

This role will be responsible for the sales of UK product into a variety of customers.  The role will involved new development and sales strategy for key varieties in to the different sectors of the UK market.

This is a great opportunity to become part of a driven and successful commercial team and becoming a key part of customer and supplier relations, driving sales and profit growth, gaining/providing accurate information to generate reports and maintaining business systems, cost and customer data.

Educated to Degree level, you will ideally have a clear understanding of the dynamics associated with the fresh produce industry, ideally potatoes. Highly developed commercial skills, with a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to tasks, proficient with IT systems and excellent numerical skills are key to this role.
