Our Client, one of the world’s leading vegetable breeders and merchants is seeking to appoint an Seed Allocations Manager to be based in Scotland.

This Seed Allocations Manager role will be responsible for negotiating contracts annually with selected growers, coordinating crop visits during the growing season, liaising with growers and customers and assigning stocks to confirmed orders thereby matching customers with the varieties and class they require.

The successful candidate will likely have some agricultural or horticultural experience and ideally knowledge of Potato cropping.

Desirable personal skills:

” Knowledge of Potato Cropping

” Crop production experience

” Excellent written and oral communication skills

” Ability to demonstrate relevant HNC, HND or degree level qualification

” Proven ability to work independently and efficiently

” Contract negotiation skills

” An ability to work as part of a team

” Enthusiasm and commitment
