Overview

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our Client, and offer an experienced Trading Manager the opportunity to work with a successful Grower, and Importer of Fresh Produce.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role will work closely with a key retail account, and take responsibility for a specific product category; interfacing with UK Growers to ensure timely orders, and packaging of product, liaising with customer buyers to ensure forecasts & orders are accurate, keep up to date with promotional & demand planning and provide information / reports on product performance, sales, and market share on a regular basis.

This role will manage the weekly programs, and ensure product availability, with promotions & offers taken in to consideration. With a key focus on account performance & growth, the successful individual will be confident with the ability to build, and develop retail accounts.

We are seeking an experienced individual from the Fresh Produce sector, who has worked in a similar role previously. With a detailed knowledge of the industry and a thorough understanding of the supply chain, the successful individual will have a high level of communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
