Overview

We currently have an exciting opportunity to work with an established and successful Food supplier, joining the technical team as Specifications Technologist.

Reporting to the Senior Technical Manager the position of Specifications Technologist will take responsibility for retail customer specifications and will include;

Liaising with new product development to achieve launches, artwork and packaging projects

Specification management, meeting legal and customer standards

Supplier contact to ensure required standards are met

Manage specification database

We require;

Experience with retail specification online systems, i.e. TTL, Find, Aspire

Exposure to Food / FMCG sectors

High attention to detail

Exceptional IT skills

We are seeking an individual who is enthusiastic about Food and passionate about working in the Food industry.

This position is varied and offers the opportunity to work with the supermarkets to develop key relationships, so excellent communication skills are key, alongside a confident and professional approach.
