Overview

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Planning & Logistics Manager to join an established Fresh Produce importer and distributor.

We require an experienced Commercial / Logistics / Planning individual to work with all divisions, and suppliers to ensure the most cost effective & efficient flow of produce to the customer.

Confidently managing a team of Assistants, this position is a fundamental part of this exciting business and will drive confidence, ability and development within the team in a fast-paced & demanding environment. With a dedicated team supporting this role, the successful individual will ensure the smooth flow of product from growers through to customers, planning logistics (inbound & outbound), managing stock, order processing and effective analysis & reporting on commercial results.

We require a confident individual who has experience within the Fresh Produce sector, with the ability to manage effectively, and thrive in a demanding, time-crucial environment. ERP / MRP implementation and management is key, with a thorough understanding of the challenges incorporated with the supply of time critical product.
