Our Client is a successful Importer and Supplier of Fresh Produce, within a unique category arena. We currently offer an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Client at a prosperous time of growth as Technical Assistant / Junior Technical Manager.

The position of Technical Assistant / Junior Technical Manager will report to & work alongside the Technical Director and will coordinate;

Key Quality systems & processes to enable compliance & due-diligence across the supply of Fresh Produce to all customers

Involvement with technical & compliance data, traceability, SEDEX, codes of practice, supplier due-diligence

Liaise with all departments as required, to ensure up to date knowledge & information across all functions

We require;

An experienced Quality Assurance / Quality Control individual, with knowledge of retail standards

Exposure to Fresh Produce and an understanding of a packhouse / packing environment

Attention to detail and accuracy is key

Strong communication ability

Confident IT skills

We would like to consider individuals at Graduate level, with a placement year in the Fresh Produce sector.

This is an office based Technical role working Monday to Friday, office hours.

Location; West Midlands / Worcestershire

Salary; £25-30k dependent on experience offered
