Overview

We have the privilege of recruiting on behalf of a service provider within the Food and Fresh Produce sectors, who supply retail customers with high quality Food products. Due to exciting growth within the business, we currently offer an opportunity to join the production team in a permanent, full time position on the Night shift as Production Shift Manager.

The position of Production Shift Manager will report to the Shift Operations Manager and will gain the opportunity to take full responsibility for the team on the night shift, to ensure product is packed efficiently, meeting customer requirements, and transport deadlines, whilst maintaining quality and Health & Safety standards.

Main responsibilities include;

Ensure production teams are utilised effectively to achieve shift output

Manage team training requirements, promoting progression positively

Maintain audit compliance and achieve targeted GMP levels

Implement Lean manufacturing initiatives

We require;
Operational and Manufacturing Management experience in a FMCG / Food / Fresh Produce environment

Experience of effectively managing a team in a previous Supervisory / Management role
Approachable, effective, motivating and driven management ability
Confident implementing and delivering against a plan

Shift / Hours; NIGHTS, 4-on – 4-off
Salary; £37-38k, dependent on experience
