Overview
Our Client is a unique and ever-expanding leader in the supply of quality Fresh Fruit to customers in the UK workplace. They offer an exciting new role to become part of the successful team that enable the timely delivery of Produce to their customers. We require a Production and Quality Manager to join the business and take responsibility for the production and quality teams across the Night Shift.
The position of Production and Quality Manager will report directly to the Head of Operations and will gain the imperative responsibility for the London based hub across the production and quality teams, to ensure all products are available to meet customer demand and meet the expected quality standards. Working across the night shift to meet orders and ensure delivery to the customer is possible for the next day, this role requires a motivated, passionate, and personable individual.
Responsibilities include:
Ensure product availability, product quality, and ISO 9001 and HACCP standards are being followed
Manage the production process, utilising Line Leaders, and team skills across the night shift
Monitor QA checks on intake, product stored, and ripening stages
Oversee product loading, working with the Transport Manager
We require:
Experience of Fresh Produce / Food Operations, incorporating quality standards knowledge
Understanding of HACCP documentation and BRC audit standard
Professional, positive, and personable management style
Energetic and committed to achieving a high standard
Motivated, hands-on approach
Location; South London
Salary; up to £46k + 5% performance-related Bonus
Hours; 40 hours p/w; across the night shift covering varying days & times within 10.00pm – 7.00am
