Overview

We currently offer an exciting opportunity to join a successful Fresh Produce service provider at a state of the art facility in Essex, becoming a key member of the Quality & Technical team as Quality Controller / QC.

The position of Quality Controller / QC will be Warehouse or Packhouse based, with a focus on quality control inspections of product on intake, online or positive release, to ensure product meets standard to complete customer orders, monitoring, inspecting and reporting on the quality of product.

Key responsibilities include;

Product inspection

Work to and achieve daily KPI’s

Report any issues or defects in a timely manner

Maintain a high level of Hygiene and Health & Safety

Ensure all product packaging meets expected standards

We require;

Experience in a Quality Control / Quality Assurance role

Fresh Produce knowledge advantageous, ideally Fruit and/or Salad

Good attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively at all levels

Location; Essex, commutable from Kent

Salary; £22-25k, reflective of experience offered

Shift; DAYS; working 4-on – 4-off; 7.00am – 7.00pm
