A market leader in their sector, our Client is an established and highly successful Fresh Produce service provider, working with an exciting portfolio of products that are destined for the UK retailers. We are currently seeking a QC Manager to strengthen their position with customers at an exciting time of expansion.

Reporting to the Senior Technical Manager, the successful QC Manager individual will manage the quality team, to ensure all fresh produce product meets customer expectations, and Food Safety & Legal requirements. Working closely with production, effective communication is key in this position and the ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibility includes;

Proactively and effectively manage the site QC team on Intake

Communicate daily with production colleagues

Ensure the site is consistently audit ready

Manage customer complaints process

Ensure the site meets QSL targets

Requirements;
Previous experience in a QA QC Quality Supervisory / Management position

HACCP / Auditing / Food Safety qualification advantageous

Effective and motivational approach to team management

Fresh Produce / Food sector exposure

Excellent communication skills

Salary; up to £35k – dependent on experience
Hours; Sunday to Thursday
