Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Auditing Manager / Supplier Auditor to join a successful Fresh Produce supplier, who are at the forefront of their product categories within the industry.

The position of Auditing Manager is fundamental to the efficient supply of fresh produce products to key retail customers, travelling to a strong portfolio of Countries Worldwide (predominantly northern hemisphere). The successful individual will be working closely with the growers, building key relationships and ensuring compliance to customer quality standards and implementing them at source with a focus on food safety.

Key responsibilities include;

Conducting audits and maintaining / uploading completed Audit documentation

Overseeing and assisting the packing at source, being key to the beginning and end of season quality

Communicate with the UK based Technical Team with regular updates on growing / packing / loading plans / weather

We require;

Experience gained within an Auditing position, having travelled and worked at source with suppliers

Fresh Produce and Tesco exposure is essential

Familiar with retail online systems; TQC or Foods Connected, or Food Experts

Spanish, Italian or French speaking would be highly advantageous

Confident and aware of retail customer expectations

Lead Auditor qualification

Location: Kent, England or Europe

Travel will be required and the individual should expect 2-6 overseas trips per month (following the lifting of restrictions). Longer trips may be required of up to 2 weeks to southern hemisphere locations (infrequently).
