A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Senior Commercial Manager / Account Manager to join our Client in a 1 Year Contract, as the business continues to manage an array of customers within the Fresh Produce sector, to include UK retailers.

The position of Senior Commercial Manager / Account Manager has become available to cover a period of maternity-leave and requires an experienced commercial individual to confidently manage retail accounts. As a Senior member of the team, this position will report to the Managing Director and will manage a small commercial team, who offer support across the customer base.

This position will work to successfully manage retail customers and ensure;

Customer expectations are met successfully, through effective management of the sales / commercial team

Work closely with procurement and technical to achieve availability / quality expectations

Work with & manage 3rd party packers to ensure successful delivery

Achieve KPI’s / targets; sales, volumes, quality, delivery schedules

Work to set budgets and exceed where possible

Annual category-plan management

We require;

Fresh Produce knowledge is essential / Fruit exposure being advantageous

Commercially strong, with proven effective team-management ability

Management of Retail customers / accounts

This is key position, at a key time for our Client and requires a committed, dedicated and professional individual to lead commercially.

Location; West Midlands / commutable from Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Coventry, Oxford areas.

Contract; 12 Months / 1 Year

Salary; up to £70k + Benefits
