Our Client is one of the UK’s largest Importers and Distributors in their product arena within the Food sector, supplying a variety of customers nationwide, including UK retailers. We now offer an excellent opportunity for a Customer Facing Technologist to join the business to strengthen their Technical team at a time of growth.

Reporting to and working alongside the Retail Technical Manager, this is a great time to join an established business to manage an existing retail customer account that is continuing to grow, resulting in this opportunity becoming available. The successful individual will be interacting with and managing the customers’ expectations, delivering a technical plan and seasonal, supply chain & quality improvement plans. Supporting the specifications team, this position will ensure raw materials meet the required standards and customer specifications, with dispatched product meeting expectations.
Key responsibilities;
Successfully manage customers’ expectations, delivering 100% of agreed KPI’s
Set and maintain retail standards, product quality and customers brand integrity
New Product Development
Team support/guidance

Technically confident, with the ability to meet expected retail & product quality standards
Experience in the Food and/or Fresh Produce sectors
Previous management of retail customer accounts
Knowledge of Retail Technical Libraries
BRC & Food Labelling knowledge
Team management ability

Salary; Up to £32k, dependent on experience level
Location; Braintree, Essex
