Overview

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a successful Fresh Produce Grower, who supply a variety of high-quality Fruit products. We require a Financial Controller to join the business in a senior position.

Reporting to Director level, the role of Financial Controller will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the company finance department, leading & managing the finance team & budget process, working with the management team on business growth & financial planning, monitor budget figures against actual figures & report accordingly, and produce the annual budget with the management team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful business in a key role. Ideally, the successful individual will 5 years’ experience in either Food, Fresh Produce or a FMCG environment, and have a strong understanding of the demands in such a varied position. With excellent personable skills, a hands-on motivating management style is key. A recognised qualification in Accounting / ACA/ACCA qualified is desirable but not essential. An ambitious, and driven financial individual, will benefit from joining a progressive business, with the potential to progress to Financial Director.
