Overview

Supplying an exciting portfolio of prepared chilled food products to the UK retail market, our Client is looking to strengthen their technical team as a Food Technologist.

The position of Food Technologist will allow the successful individual to work with a passionate technical team to deliver high quality support to customers and ensure products meet codes of practise and technical requirements from raw materials to receipt by customers.

Responsibilities overview;

Ensure all technical activities required to launch NPD / EPD are completed within the required timeframe

Manage the writing of specifications, artwork approval, pre-production trials and other key NPD activities

Requirements;

Experience gained in a Technical / Technologist position, within the Food and / or Fresh Produce sectors

Knowledge and understanding of the standards and requirements expected by UK retail customers

Location; Kent
Salary; £30-32k, dependent on experience
Hours; Monday – Friday, with some flexibility required
