Our Client is a successful Fresh Produce Grower, supplying premium, high quality Fruit products across 12 months of the year. We now offer an exciting opportunity to join the business within the management team as Harvest Manager.

The position is key to the success of the farm meeting tight deadlines and schedules set, with the effective management and harvesting of the farms crops, and supervising the team daily. With an encouraging and motivating approach to management, the position will take responsibility for the drilling, planting and irrigation of the crops and crop husbandry, availability and crop quality. Product is supplied to UK retail customers, so standards are high and it is imperative to ensure Health & Safety is maintained.

This is a site role working in a field environment and managing large teams during peak season.

We require;
Fresh Produce sector experience (UK grown crops ideally)
Full understanding of a Fresh Produce harvesting / grower environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels

Strong understating of the techniques involved in managing a team within a harvesting / grower environment
Motivating and encouraging staff management, to achieve expectational working standards and product quality

Salary; Up to £38k dependent on experience
